For a team that didn’t have much expectation this season. Lincoln lacrosse found themselves with two wins from their first four games so far in the North of England Men’s Lacrosse Association Premier 3 (NEMLA) after beating Stoke 10 – 7.
A team that didn’t have much belief and aimed to win one game this season and avoid the bottom. They are showing signs of great improvement with the addition of some experienced players, new found belief and confidence.
Aiden Jakubik Chairman and player at the team aims for a middle table finish this season. “Got a few fixtures we want to target like Hull old rivals and beat Stoke and Ruthin on the return legs” said a confident Jakubik.
The teams next fixture is against Liverpool, Jakubik believes the “first quarter will be imperative” as the team have struggled to get results in this fixture in the past.
