Michael Payne, a telemetry engineer of thirty years has given us access to the inside of the the historic water tower which is situated in the cathedral quarter of Lincoln. The tower is designed hold 300,000 gallons of water or 1.3 million litres! The weight of the water and the tank together combined is 1400 tonnes.
