Some of the most promising stars of British Hockey are showcasing their skills in a series of games across Lincolnshire, with their first match taking place last night.
The Great Britain Colleges’ U19 team is made up of teenagers who were unsuccessful at the trials for the full team GB squad for their age group, with some players regularly turning out for their national team.
As part of a three-day training camp in the region, the rising stars will face off against sides across Lincolnshire.
In their first encounter they crossed sticks with a University of Lincoln team.
