A Lincolnshire based rock band, The Freefall have written a charity single called Hang Ten Jack.
The song released last month was written as a tribute to their friend Jack North, who tragically died from a brain tumour aged twenty two.
But despite grieving the group wanted to ensure his life was celebrated.
Lead singer, Ant McAndrew said;
”I went to Jack’s family and Jack’s Godmother had written a poem about Jack. It just explained his life and things he liked to do. I really liked the poem, and I wondered if I could write a song like that.”
All proceeds from the single will go to the Brain Tumour charity, and Cancer Research UK.
